The round up of this week!

Okay this week is not that nice especially 7 th of Janurary 2009. Someone i know is kinda of missing , meaning a part of me is missing. I mean honestly , we both made the right choice in a way if you think abt it. Although i did not wanted this to happen in the first place at all. I mean i do not hate her nor am i happy about lah! But we are still in contact and are friends . But kinda need time to get used to it , i hope you understand. And on that day i got punish with my (laughing and lame jokes buddy )Xin Ying in front of the whole school. What was funny was that we were trying to control our laughter. As for today new things kind of pop up but that does not change my perception of you. You are still my bestfriend and will be , i understand what you went through and why you did it. Today i was reading this book it is called "Life Strategies for Teens".Oh and the author is Dr.Phil's son.Okay to my point this made me want to share something with you from this book. These are general point of view that people tend to view in life. Here it goes and you see what you are and what best describe YOU!i used the word lens as an example of how we use our eyes.

The peer Lens
These lens causes you to evaluate your entire world based on what others think about you.If you feel you have gained peer approval , you feel successful. You're the type who thinks there is nothing more important in life than being accepted by the right group of friends. They are the foundation of life .

The "I'm in love" Lens
This is somewhat similar to the peer Lens , but it is worse . In this lens, everything in your life is dependent on having a boyfriend or a girlfriend. You totally measure your self-worth as a function of whether somebody else is in love with you or not.

The Material Lens
This lens causes you to relate to the world in a comparative way ,. You are totally tuned in to material wealth and focus on what your possession are versus the possessions of others.

The Achievements Lens
You measure your self-worth totally as a function of what you have accomplished . You are obsessed with grades , club and committee membership, and awards or distinctions in your life. There is little room for evaluating yourself or others on the basis of character.

The Authority Lens
This lens causes you to be totally focused on how you are relating yo those in your life who have authority. You are either obsessed about gaining their approval , or you are equally obsessed with rebelling against their control. Either way , your obsession dominates your every thought , feeling , and action.

The Victim Lens
Viewing the world through this lens causes you to be obsessed with how you are being hurt or victimized by the world. Things are seldom, if ever , your fault, and you tend to believe that the world is , in fact, out to get you.

The Hate Lens
With this lens , you see enemies behind every tree, waiting to drag you down. You know that when people say something nice to you , there is probably a hidden motive somewhere

last and not least

The Safety Lens
You see life as a place where it's better to be safe than sorry. You never take a risk because you don't trust yourself to handle the pain of failure. The thing about all of these lenses is that they give you a very decided view of the world. But most important, they are based on choices you made about how you see the world. Remember , you can change you lenses.

So this is what i think . You should see which are you !
Change now and make a difference in your life and others.
Hope thtat this will give you a better understanding of yourself.

That is about all , if you have anything to say leave me a comment.

Bye!
